I just read this in Relevant's weekly email feature article (an interview with Debbie Dortzbach). It made me stop and think:

i am the guy that played the "city girl" song at the songwriter's forum. just wanted to say thanks for the positive feedback and let you know about my blog.
We've been going through a class at church using "Inside Out" by Larry Crabb. This quote reminds me of this study.
