If you can believe it...

It snowed here last night. SNOWED. Good grief. I wonder if we're in for a doozy of a winter...

A few years ago we had a BIG snow the week of Christmas. My roommates and I were worried we'd be snowed in and unable to travel by plane, train or automobile to be with family for Christmas. It all worked out, but it made for a couple of days of fun---a few friends ended up having to crash at our place one night because of the weather and the next morning one of them hiked through the winter wonderland back to his house, brought his four-wheeler over, and towed us around the seminary campus next door on a little wooden sled. Until the wooden sled started breaking apart and sending splinters into our nether-regions...but, still, good times. :)

SNOW?

ok, officially jealous, well maybe just a little, can it snow one day and then return to the mid-60's the next, i would appreciate that

and nice use of the word "nether regions", it doesn't get enough play time in normal conversation, but then again that is probably a good thing

It snowed like seven tiny flakes, though, King. And it wasn't that cold. And Thursday it's supposed to be in the 60s.

In South Dakota (where I went to college) there has been snow on the ground for a month that won't go away completely until April. UGH! Better here with our seven flakes than there, for sure.

Not so, my Friend Who Wore Short Sleeves Yesterday When It Was About to Snow...

The way I discovered that it had snowed was seeing snow-topped cars toodling along beside me on the way to work. And some of the rooftops over near my office were covered! Everything on the ground had melted, though, and there was no sign of white on my car---but my windshield wipers were frozen to my windshield.

Tom and Laura: did you people not go outside till the afternoon or something? It had melted by then. But I definitely had to clean snow off my car yesterday morning at 7, when I was heading into work.

And you people who are JEALOUS -- just be thankful you didn't have to clean snow off your car and scrape ice off the windshield, thus making you just late enough to get stuck in traffic going across the bridge.

I do like snow, though. Just not when I have to drive.

Yeah I woke up later, don't feel lucky it's a curse, I am forced to work late, count your stuck in traffic across the bridge blessings man, every second of them. Oh what I would trade for that!

ANyways, I saw some ice on top my car was all really. Nothing on the ground, just stuff on top of cars, that's why I thoguhtit was more like frozen dew. It was still cold though.

You were impressive enough to stay on the sled going down that flight of stairs!!! Tough chick, I tell ya!
